Poultry fanciers have all heard of the Buff Orpington and the Naked Neck… but this is something else.

The Poultry Club of Great Britain has produced a racy Fancy Chicks Calendar of lady chicken fanciers with their birds.

Twelve ladies appear in the altogether with their favourite birds in strategically placed positions.

Club publicity officer Toddy Hamilton-Gould said: “The idea, conceived one night at The National Poultry Show after a good meal and few drinks, was to get a range of ladies, not only of different sizes and ages but with different breeds of poultry.”

The calendar is now available via the PCGB website, www.poultryclub.org for £8.50. All proceeds will go to the Poultry Club of Great Britain.
