APR 17, 2013: The country show season is underway – with hundreds to choose from!
In April issue we featured more than 300 events in our Show Diary. Some highlights are: The Smallholder and Garden Festival in Wales is one of the first big ones. This event takes place at the RWAS showground at Builth Wells on May 18-19. About 25,000 visitors are expected at this event, showcasing smallholding, gardening and sustainable living. www.rwas.co.uk/en/garden-festival/ The Royal Bath & West Show will be held at the showground in Shepton Mallet from May 29 – June 1. This is the 150th show – it is one of the oldest agricultural shows in England. www.bathandwest.com The Royal Cornwall Show will be held at the showground in Wadebridge on June 6, 7 & 8 June. The RAF Falcons parachute display team will be in action, there will be lots of events for kids – and even Titan the robot will be there! www.royalcornwallshow.org/ The Three Counties Show takes place on June 14-16 at the showground in Malvern. Visit this show for a jam-packed day of family entertainment and fun, all in celebration of our great British farming world and countryside. www.threecounties.co.uk/threecounties The Royal Norfolk Show is on the oustkirts of Norwich on June 26 and 27. There will be 650 stands and 100,000 visitors. http://royalnorfolkshow.co.uk/The Great Yorkshire Show will be held is from July 9 -11 at Harrogate.
