It’s not long to go until the FREE inaugural Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show, which will be taking place at the Newbury Showground on 15 November 2023.
Created by Kelsey Media, the publisher of the UK’s top agriculture brands, South East Farmer, Agricultural Trader, Profi, Farm Machinery, Vineyard and Crop Production Magazine, the show will be an unmissable one-day event for all farmers and people involved in farming and farming-related activities across the South of England and beyond.
The Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show will showcase agricultural companies large and small under one roof at the expansive Newbury Showground. The show is sponsored by Samagri Ltd, who are are the sole UK importer of the Virkar direct drill range, and confirmed exhubitors so far include Chandlers, Farol, Kuhn, Openfield, OMEX and more.
It will give all attendees a fantastic – and free! – opportunity to sample and keep up to date with all things farming and farm-related, new products and services and the latest farm machinery from the region’s top manufacturers and dealers.
There will also be a live auction on the day from Symonds & Sampson’s dedicated Agricultural Auctioneers, who will be holding a collective auction of machinery and equipment.
“A live onsite auction at this important industry event not only brings added interest but is also the perfect opportunity to trade machinery at the end of the season,” said Symonds & Sampson partner and auctioneer, Paul Heard. “Live online bidding will be available on certain lots for those unable to attend on the day, thus ensuring that lots entered will be accessible to buyers from far and wide”.
There will also be a number of lively and thought-provoking seminars taking place throughout the day, with topics including grain marketing post-CAP; Red Diesel rules; crop nutrition and agricultural robotics.
In addition to the show’s core farming and machinery content, there’ll also be construction and outdoor power equipment for visitors to see. Plus live demo areas and more!
The Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show will be taking place on 15 November at Newbury Showground.
