Vigo Presses

It’s exciting times at Vigo Presses. Not only is it the peak of the fruit harvesting, juice and cider making season, but the company has recently changed ownership.

Paul Courtney, a local cider and juice maker, has taken the helm of the business adding additional knowledge and support to the existing team.

He says: “Harvest time is great, as parents and children all get involved. It’s great to share some of our knowledge with people who are just starting out or trialing making juices and ciders.”

Paul’s family now make 6,000 litres of cider and a few thousand bottles of apple juice a year, and were delighted when their dry cider was awarded first prize in this year’s Devon County Show.

The team at Vigo Presses are always looking to go above and beyond expectations for their customers and have recently added a number of additional products to support harvesting, orchard management and juice and cider production.
