After the success of its inaugural show – with over 2,000 attendees and 90 exhibitors in attendance – the West Country Farming & Machinery Show is set to return in 2024 on 21 February.

The West Country Farming & Machinery Show is a completely FREE event for the farming industry where audiences will find the latest machinery from the biggest manufacturers and dealers. If your interests are livestock, diary or arable, there is something at the show for you!

Taking place in the heart of the West Country at Exeter’s prestigious Westpoint Arena, the West Country Farming & Machinery Show will bring new machines, innovations, auctions, and discussions all in one place, with exhibitors covering more than 9,000 sqm of exhibition space.

The latest machinery

With brands from the very forefront of agricultural machinery represented, you can expect to see the latest must-haves at the West Country Farming & Machinery Show.

Brands represented include Case IH, John Deere, Fendt, Pöttinger, Kuhn, New Holland, Claas, JCB, McCormick, Amazone, Stewart, Krone, Sumo, Samson, Grimme, Merlo, Manitou, Teagle, Grenadier, Tramspread, Kubota, Lely, Lemken, Nugent Trailers, Isuzu and Zetor.

There will also be demo areas for attendees to view some of the top machinery in action on the day.

Live machinery auction

The West Country Farming & Machinery Show aims to stand out against other agricultural shows, which is why it will once again be hosting a live machinery auction courtesy of new auction sponsor, Stags.

“We look forward to contributing positively towards furthering the debut success seen at the West Country Farming & Machinery Show,” said a representative from Stags. “We are thrilled to be involved in this innovative and core industry focused show and auction which we strongly believe will be a growing success in years to come.”

BASIS, FACTS and NRoSO CPD points and free workshops

That’s not all! The West Country Farming & Machinery show is also expecting to be able to offer BASIS, FACTS and NRoSO CPD points, helping to keep not just that all-important professional accreditation, but also a range of skills up to scratch.

Speaking of skills, the show’s charity partner, Devon Air Ambulance (DAA), will also be in attendance on the day, offering free workshops to attendees.

“Our crew of specialist paramedics will be running a 45-minute Farming Injury Prevention Workshop,” said DAA Head of Operations, Darren Goodwin. “An interactive presentation, enabling those attending to get hands on with our team to help prevent and treat injuries that often happen in some of the most remote locations across the county.”
