NOVEMBER 14, 2009: The Dyfed Smallholders Association has welcomed The Prince of Wales as its first honorary member.
The Association was formed in 1987 and is one of the longest-running smallholder associations in the UK with over 150 member holdings in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. A spokesman said: “His Royal Highness has been committed to these issues for many years, and his acceptance of honorary membership of the association is encouragement to all who share the association’s purpose of co-operating to foster small-scale agricultural and country pursuits. “We trust that His Royal Highness will enjoy the beauty and calm of this area of Wales and wish him and his family ‘Croeso’.” More information about the association can be found at www.dyfedsmallholders.org.uk
