Clarence Court a free range egg producer has planted fresh herbs for her hens which will help promote god health and well being.

The special breeds farm near Cambourne in Cornwall has introduced 6 herbs to the free range chickens. As well as their regular natural cereal-based diet, the birds will be given feverfew, to help repel insects from the hens and mint to refresh and reinvigorate. Wild thyme will aid food absorption and green purslane will provide a rich source of vitamins and minerals to increase the eggs’ Omega 3 content.sage is also being introduced to prevent tiredness and chamomile will assist in calming and soothing the birds.
