JANUARY 25, 2008: Garden Organic has joined forces with the Soil Association to helpfarmers account for the loss of produce during this year’s wet growingseason.
Garden Organic said: “The summer weather caused havoc for growers, and, with fruit and veg supplies becoming sporadic and unpredictable, businesses are in danger of going under.“New pricing information is available for growers to cost out their harvest appropriately.”More growers are needed to supply pricing information in confidence.
