SEPT 20, 2009: One of England’s top autumn rural shows – Countryside Live – is expanding, organisers, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, have announced.

This year’s event, which is held on Saturday October 24 and Sunday 25, at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, will include new classes for pigs, the addition of novice classes in the equine section, and new classes in farriery. Countryside Live brings together competitive classes, lively entertainment and displays of rural skills.
