The Woodland Trust is conducting a free online webinar – Exploring Nature’s Calendar – on Tuesday 7 March 2023 at 7pm.

Participants will be able to listen to resident experts as they explain how climate change affects our seasons and what the knock-on effects are for wildlife.
The Woodland Trust says: ‘Spring is maybe the most exciting time to notice seasonal changes in the wildlife around you.
‘The Woodland Trust’s Nature’s Calendar project allows you to do this with a purpose and join in with history, adding to volunteer records collected since 1736. These records are used by scientists around the world to track the impacts of climate change.’

Topics covered in the webinar will include: “What is Nature’s Calendar”?, How to record, tips for recording accurately, a summary of last year’s findings and finally some recent examples of how the data is used by scientists.
