Three further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed by the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA).
The cases were detected at a second premises near Bury St Edmunds, West Suffolk, Suffolk and a third and fourth premises near Attleborough, Breckland, Norfolk.
The APHA maintains that all bird keepers should ‘remain vigilant and follow stringent biosecurity measures to prevent future outbreaks’.
