Further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed in Suffolk, Essex, Lancashire and Norfolk.
The Animal & Plant Health Agency have advised that the disease was detected at:
- A third premises near Bury St Edmunds, West Suffolk, Suffolk.
- A second and third premises near Heybridge, Maldon, Essex.
- A premises near Witham, Braintree, Essex
- A premises near Burscough, West Lancashire, Lancashire
- A seventh premises near Attleborough, Breckland, Norfolk.
