The Animal & Plant Health Agency advises that further cases of bird flu have been confirmed in Norfolk.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) has been found at:

  • a second premises near Mundford, Breckland, Norfolk
  • a third premises near Mundford, Breckland, Norfolk
  • an eighth premises near Attleborough, Breckland, Norfolk
  • a second premises near Holt, North Norfolk, Norfolk.

As various restrictions now apply, bird keepers are urged to ‘remain vigilant’ and check www.gov.uk/bird-flu for the latest information about these new cases.
